Mr. Kesling is a Senior Project Advisor for SCS Engineers and the National Partner for Due Diligence, with over 33 years of environmental experience, consulting to industrial, commercial, and governmental clients worldwide.

With a focus on providing support services to the real estate, financial and insurance communities, Mr. Kesling specializes in structuring environmental risk and liability issues associated with the development, acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and industrial properties, and the repackaging and redevelopment of environmentally distressed and upside-down real estate assets.

For over a decade prior to joining SCS, Mr. Kesling worked as the Senior Consultant Environmental Risk Management in the Investment/Commercial Real Estate Department of one of the largest life insurance companies in the country.  Environmental consulting services for this $120 billion company were provided on real estate equity, development, debt, asset preservation, credit, security, joint venture and third-party transactions with more then $38 billion dollars of assets under management. These included over 3,300 investments totaling $19.5 billion dollars.
